Don’t Forget the Magic
As a black parent, I know how important it is for our children to see themselves represented during the holiday season. That’s why I wanted to take a moment to remind you of the magic that lies within our community and ask for your special attention to our little ones.
The Spirit of Giving
This year, our children have faced unique challenges and obstacles. Despite everything, they have shown resilience and strength. They have continued to shine and inspire, even in difficult times. So, Santa, please shower our Black boys and girls with your love and generosity this Christmas.
Believing in Dreams
Many of our children dream of becoming doctors, lawyers, teachers, and engineers. They aspire to be leaders and make a difference in this world. Santa, I ask that you instill in them the belief that their dreams can come true. Help them realize that their potential knows no bounds and that they are capable of greatness.
Sweet Treats for Santa
Just like children from all cultures, our little ones love to leave treats for you on Christmas Eve. They want to make sure you have something delicious to fuel your long journey around the globe. So, Santa, be prepared for some mouthwatering cookies and milk made with love by our talented young bakers.
Expressing Gratitude
In our culture, gratitude is highly valued. We teach our children to appreciate the blessings in their lives, no matter how big or small. Santa, please encourage our kids to express their gratitude not only for the gifts they receive but also for the love and support they have from their families and communities.
Dreaming Big
Your visit each year is a reminder that dreams can come true. It fosters hope and reminds us that anything is possible. Santa, I ask that you inspire our Black children to dream big and to never let societal limitations hold them back.
Spreading Love and Unity
Christmas is a time for love, unity, and togetherness. Santa, help our children understand that we are all one human family, regardless of our differences. Teach them the importance of kindness, empathy, and acceptance. And remind them that they too hold the power to make the world a better place.
Imagination and Creativity
Our children have incredible imaginations and boundless creativity. Sometimes, all they need is a little encouragement to let their ideas flourish. Santa, be the wind beneath their wings. Encourage them to explore their passions, whether it be art, music, sports, or science.
Embracing Diversity
Our community is diverse and rich with culture. Santa, please celebrate and embrace the uniqueness of our Black heritage. Let our children know that their heritage is something to be proud of, something to cherish. Help them understand that it is their strength and individuality that makes them shine.

Finally, Santa, let your magic bring joy to the hearts of our Black children. As they unwrap their presents on Christmas morning, may their smiles light up the room. May they feel loved, cherished, and valued. And may the holiday season fill their lives with laughter and happiness.
